PSY200-level Study Sessions

Need a study buddy for those term tests?

PAUSE is hosting Study sessions for your psych class. The dates, times, and locations are as follows:

On Thursday November 16th from 6-9 will be PSY280 in room SE 1104

On Monday November 13th from 6-9 will be PSY201 in room SE 1143

On Monday Novmeber 13th from 6-9 will be PSY290 in room SE 1161

On Tuesday November 14th from 6-9 will be PSY210 in room SE 1130

On Wednesday November 29th from 6-9 will be PSY230 in room SE 1143

These dates are also marked on our Calendar located just outside the PUMP room.

These study sessions are on a first-come-first serve basis and is for our members only. There will be sign out sheets for each session posted outside the PUMP room. GOOOOD LUCK!!!

Academic Series: Intro to APA style

All PAUSE members are invited to the first of our many Academic Series. This Tuesday (October 31) from 2-3pm, we will be hosting "An Introduction to APA Style" presented by Prof. Kate McLean at the Student Centre Boardroom.

Learn how to write a proper APA style paper for all your psych classes. See you then!

Meditation Seminars

As I said before, they are BACK! yay!!

Now, these all take place in the Fireplace Lounge, room 2068B in south I think, and begins promptly at 6pm. If you are interested in going, don't hesitate to show up on time ^^
Members are free, and non-members will have to pay $2.00 per session.
Of course, Dr Jeff is coming back to facilitate the session.

Upcoming Events

Hey all ^^
I hope everyone is not too tired from midterms. We have set up some events starting soon, first one to come up is at the end of the month. Right now, a calendar is up in the PAUSE office, and you are all welcome to drop by and take a look. (I'm looking into getting one for here but it's gonna take some time to write up o.o) Same as before, free for members, non-members will have to pay.
We will begin study sessions for the second year courses starting next month. More info will be posted later, don't worry ^^

General Meeting

Hey guys ^^ Hope you're all enjoying your weekend! We have planned the general meeting to be held on Monday October 16th at 4pm in the Fireplace Lounge. Hope you know where that is, if not it's in the student centre :P
We will be discussing upcoming events, and would like all our members to come and help us plan, we hope we can make these events work, and the best that we've ever done ^^
For members: Pizza and pop will be provided so come and eat while we discuss the ideas :P
For non-members: We will be selling membership that day for $6, you are welcome to come and join us.
